Business Development Manager – Scotland
My client is a specialist engineering company, operating with a distinct reputation for their excellence in the services that they provide.
Their market specialisation is providing engineering services primarily to the Aerospace and Medical sectors however they are seeking to further expand the current client base and win new business. With an extensive customer base throughout Scotland there is plenty of room to focus on new market penetration. Current organisational development has led to a requirement to recruit a BDM in Scotland to work within the central belt and take control of all sales for the company.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director the successful candidate will have complete autonomy to seek and win new business. Your main focus will be to expand the customer base maximising business from current customers, whilst also identifying and seizing new opportunities for growth. This role involves the sale of Bespoke Machined Components, Production Line Equipment, Fabrications, Re Engineering and Refurbishment solutions. It is expected that the Business Development Managers time will be working from the office liaising closely with the Projects team and also venturing out to liaise directly with clients.
The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, technically minded person with an understanding of machining who is customer focused, flexible, and adaptable with a proven track record of improving and growing a business.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Depending on experience
OTE: Package to be negotiated
