BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Established for well over 35 years, my client is well known in the design and manufacture of power generation equipment. This dynamic and forward thinking organisation have experienced and maintained sustained periods of growth since the start of trading and due to expansion, are now looking for a New Business Development Manager based in the Midlands. The ideal candidate will either have experience in field sales of Generator Sets or Capital Equipment and are looking for more of a new business role or they will have existing experience dealing with projects/account management in Diesel Generators, Switchgear or industrial UPS systems. This role is a combination of both internal and field based work and will therefore require the successful candidate to be within commutable distance from the office. This role is 100% Business Development for the medium time and therefore the successful candidate will need to have the energy and enthusiasm to do this

BASIC SALARY: £30 - 35k
OTE: 10% of the basic on top

THE COMPANY
* Design and Manufacture Power Generation Equipment.
* Have experienced excellent and sustained periods of growth and are continuing to expand and develop throughout the UK.
* Supply to a diverse range of markets including M&E contractors, Main Contractors, Consultants and Electrical Contactors and Sub-Contractors
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
* Either experience in a field sales role and are now looking for more of a New Business role or existing experience dealing with projects/account management in the Power Industry or Capital Equipment - Diesel Generators, Switchgear or industrial UPS systems.
* Or they should have good routes to market with exceptional new business sales ability
* The ability to Negotiate at all levels.
* Energy and passion for new business.
THE ROLE
* 100% Business Development.
* Selling products and services to M&E contractors, main contractors, consultants and electrical companies
* The role is mostly Field based work and will require the successful candidate to be in commutable distance from the office.
