COMPANY Planned growth and a strategy focused on market penetration, specifically in the industrial market have led to an exciting sales opportunity to join this market leader. Our client is a leading provider of AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies and related standby backup systems. With a strong UK market presence and part of a larger group, our client is looking to recruit an ambitious sales professional to grow their current industrial market. This role is focused on new business development, so we are looking for people with lots of drive and the ability to close. THE ROLE You will be fully accountable for sales revenue, gross margin and contact for all industrial customers. You will be expected to generate new business development within this industry and work towards achieving revenue budgets. Dealing with design engineers, purchasing and buyers, you will be responsible for selling power supplies and related standby systems and to increase market share in East Anglia. THE CANDIDATE You must have experience selling an electrical or electronic engineering component. More importantly, you will be tenacious, new business focused and be able to create a high level of activity on your sales territory. We are looking for someone who is either in an internal role and wants to progress to external sales or an experienced external sales person.
